When someone asks me what it actually feels like to spend a full day at Altos de Yariguíes, I do not talk about floor plans or future delivery dates. I tell them the real routine of an ordinary Saturday, because the project's social club is already built and already in use, 50 minutes from Bucaramanga via the old road to Barrancabermeja. 8 A.M., the first coffee by the panoramic pool
The day starts early, while the sun is still low over the reservoir. You get there on the project's own paved roads, already built, lit by solar street lamps with underground electrical wiring, so there is not a single pothole or exposed cable in sight, just a direct path to the social club. Anyone who wants something more active can walk to the reservoir's water sports area, only 500 meters from the project, and still be back in time for the rest of the day at the club.
Midday, the beach volleyball court and soccer field fill up
Once the sun is high, the gathering point shifts. The beach volleyball court and the soccer field sit just steps from the pool, and that is where most people end up, between pickup games and breaks in the shade of the trees. The project's two access gates, the main one on the old road to Barrancabermeja and an auxiliary one on the main road, keep the club calm, so kids can move freely between the pool and the courts without anyone having to watch them every minute. It is the kind of midday that, in the city, would mean booking a court weeks in advance, and here it simply happens.
At dusk, the social bar and the pool with its lights
As the sun starts dropping behind the mountains, the club's rhythm shifts again. The social bar fills up with people who already played their match and want to close out the day slowly, while the panoramic pool, the same one from breakfast, looks different with the afternoon light falling across the reservoir. By nightfall, the club's lights come on among the trees and the water goes still, with the same mountain horizon you saw in the morning, only quiet now, and the social bar still open for anyone who wants to stay a little longer.
A day like this does not depend on a delivery date or a rendering: the pool, the bar, the pet park and the courts at Altos de Yariguíes already exist and already get used every weekend. It is the clearest way to understand what owning a lot here actually means, not only as an investment, but as a place you can already live in today.
