Buying the lot is only half the decision. The other half comes next, and it often feels bigger: who builds the house? At Altos de Yariguíes Country Club there are two paths, and neither is mandatory. You can build with Proyecto Girasoles, the project's own builder, or with another company you trust. What follows is not a recipe, just an honest comparison so you can choose calmly.
Path one: build with Proyecto Girasoles
The clearest advantage is proximity. Proyecto Girasoles develops and sells the project, so it knows the land, the roads already built and the conditions of each lot. And you get something you rarely see before deciding: a model home that is already built and open for in person tours. You can walk through its rooms, look at the finishes and the lighting, and work out what you love and what you would change, without imagining it from a render.
Path two: build with another builder
Maybe you already have an architect you trust, or a builder who put up a relative's house. That is fine: buyers may build with another company. There is a single condition, which is to respect the owner's manual. That manual is the common rule for every lot, so a home built by any builder sits well alongside the rest of the project. Your freedom to choose does not depend on whether you use direct financing: they are separate decisions.
What stays the same, whichever path you pick
Whoever builds, the foundation of the lot is identical. Each lot comes with its own independent title deed, from 1,250 m², on paved roads, with solar powered street lighting and underground electrical wiring. That infrastructure is already built, so your house rests on a finished setting rather than on promises. You also get the same drinking water supply point with its own treatment plant, and the same view of the reservoir that people call "the sea of Santander."
My advice is practical: before deciding, walk through the model home, read the owner's manual with whoever you would build with, and ask your questions. A dream home starts to take shape when you stand inside a real one and compare it with the one in your head.
